Rediscover arguably the best – certainly one of the best loved – of MGM’s classic Hollywood musicals.

Truly one of the greatest musicals ever made.

Co-directors Stanley Donen and Gene Kelly (who also stars) collaborated to make one of the most well known and referenced movies in history; a nostalgic love-letter to the Hollywood of a bygone era.

Set during Hollywood’s transition from silent-era film production to ‘the talkies’ in the late 1920s, Kelly leads as the stuntman-turned-matinee-idol star of Monumental Pictures, Don Lockwood. Shot in Technicolor glory, this studio era classic features memorable performances from Debbie Reynolds, Donald O’Connor, Cyd Charisse, and Rita Moreno, among others.

Kelly’s celebrated song and dance routine (“just dancin’ and singin’ in the rain”) remains a gold standard to this day.
