Using a range of technologies – from face and body scanners, to 3D landscape modelling, to motion capture and gesture recognition – Project Zero recontextualises a performance by the late legendary dancer Xiao He-Wen into an experimental, somatosensory interactive journey. This absorbing virtual reality work is a profound exercise in remembrance and re-presentation.
