A showcase of the finest contemporary queer cinema from Australia and beyond and the largest queer film festival in the Southern Hemisphere.
MQFF challenges and entertains by delivering a curated festival of queer film content, and encourages discussion of LGBTIQ issues through panels and special events. MQFF promotes emerging filmmakers and access to screen storytelling through industry programs and community workshops.
