One fortuitous day in San Francisco 1979, as HIV and AIDS were decimating the gay community, two leather boys met at a party, fell in love and decided to revolutionise the same-sex porn industry.

Jack Frischer, one time editor of the legendary leather mag Drummer, and tech guru Mark Henry realised that by exploring the darkest recesses of fetishism, they could provide the safest sex possible during those perilous times: jerking off to your favourite niche fantasy! Using ‘real men’ as actors and real kinks as content, Palm Drive Video was born. Raw! Uncut! Video! doesn’t shy away from documenting the intriguing to the bizarre fetishes that graced Palm Drive’s collection. There was the mud fetish, the fart fetish, the vomit fetish, and a novel way of using steel rods fetish, and MUCH more. Through a series of interviews and (eye-popping) clips, Director Ryan White manages to highlight the benefits of exploring erotic boundaries and “embracing non-normative sexualities”. As one contributor put it: “If you can imagine a fetish, you know that somebody out there is actually doing it”
