After separating from their wife, Jay, a 40-something photographer, attempts to move across the country to start their life over again. Along the way, Jay takes a detour, staying with their high school best friend, whom they once loved. The past resurfaces as Jay grapples with the inevitable cycles of love and loss in this intimate and hilarious portrait of one person's journey to letting go.
