The Melbourne Women in Film Festival is back for 2022 and ready to make you laugh!

This year’s program – Laugh Louder – focuses on all things funny through specially curated screenings, retrospectives, conversations and workshops featuring Australian, Aotearoa New Zealand and Pasifika women and gender diverse filmmakers.

MWFF 2022 delves into the lighter side of life as well as exploring the potential for humour to challenge social and cultural stereotypes. Once again, the festival brings together a dynamic program of features and short films, classic films, web series, music videos, talks and workshops in person at ACMI and online.

Important information

Tickets to MWFF events can only be purchased online. You can purchase tickets on your mobile phone at the venues and present your e-ticket on your phone to staff.
