Madeline McGrady documents the protest following the death in custody of Eddie Murray in Wee Waa, 1981.

Aboriginal political activists campaigned to assist the Murray family in winning justice for the many people who died in similarly suspicious circumstances. The political campaign also tried to reclaim a centrally-placed camping ground for Aboriginal cotton seasonal workers, who are banned by the local council from entering on the basis of 'unsightly' and unhealthy grounds.

McGrady's film also highlights issues of land rights and settler occupation that is still extremely relevant today as it was 40 years ago.
