From documentaries that explore the eccentricities of your favourite suburb to beautifully directed dramas that showcase the migrant experience, this season of films explores Melbourne as a character. Celebrating everything we love about our city, this program spotlights the communities, streets, trainlines and people that have made Melbourne what it is today.
Presented in partnership with Melbourne International Film Festival, a special ACMI Crew Night launches the program on Thursday 19 February 2026.
