Join us for a post-screening discussion with director Kasimir Burgess, producer Chris Kamen and cinematographer Benjamin Bryan.

In the harsh winter of the Mongolian Steppes, two friends undertake a gruelling journey to bring 2,000 horses to viable snow pastures. This ancient tradition, carried out by countless generations in the Tsaikhir Valley, is now under threat from increasing environmental pressures and worsening weather conditions. Eager to keep the tradition alive, elders from the community hand the responsibility on to the new generation. An immersive and engrossing portrait of the resilience of a community in the face of the climate crisis.

An immersive and intimate piece of cinema.
