Explore the frights and delights of new and classic Korean Horror films on the big screen at ACMI.

From vengeful ghosts to spooky shaman, K-Horror has soared in popularity over the past few years. Never afraid to buck traditional western horror tropes, K-Horror often avoids jump scares and happy endings to instead push boundaries of genre conventions and show sincerity, action thrills and comedy across a slower, scarier burn.

In this Spotlight season we celebrate the broad history of Korean horror films, from the post-censorship era in the early 2000s, to the box office smashes of 2024.
