Travelling through Australia with his film camera, Ivan Sen has visited many Aboriginal communities, from urban to prison to distant-rural. Photographing people in their definitive environments, he has created an installation which is a subtle and deeply moving meditation on skin, landscape, gesture and the many nuances of Aboriginal identities.
The work contains imagery of people who have all shared the same blood. The blood of the Gamilaroi people of Northern NSW.
