A young girl, incarcerated in a dormitory, escapes to her rightful place in the world. During the journey she recollects her life and the treatment she has endured. In My Colour, Your Kind director Danielle Mclean uses her experience as a fair skinned First Nations person to explore the notion of First Nations identity.
