Ross Gibson discusses a number of issues relating to the curatorial background and philosophy of assembling the ACMI collection. Ross also discusses the approach taken by ACMI staff to generating content and assembling the collection with the viewer’s experience in mind. Other topics of discussion relate to the genesis of Ross’ involvement with the project, an overview of his work while Creative Director of ACMI, and a discussion of specific works in the permanent collection of exemplary works.
