A young man dreams of himself as embdying the spirit and the flesh of the great opera diva, Maria Callas. But in the harsh reality of the mirror he has to confront his body, his maleness and the past. A richly stylised tribute to queer’s legacy of fascination and subversion in the romance of opera.
