Simone Andy’s fondly recalls her great-grandfather Thomas Lyon or, as he was known, Grandfather TL. A proud, strong Aboriginal man, Grandfather TL fought in the war and finally recieved his medals in 1996. His death in 1989 set Andy on a journey to find out more about her beloved great-grandfather and, ultimately, to find out who she is.
