Three Aboriginal legends gathered from Tribal elders by student teachers from Kormilda College, Darwin are retold with accompanying illustrations by the students. The titles include: “The Anteater and the Turtle” - story by Nathanael Maralngura, artist Neville Jabangadi Poulson; “The old Dingo who had six wives” - story by Bill Middikari Jambidjimba, artist Harry Djagamara Nelson; “How the Kangaroo got his tail” - Story by Andrew Leku, artist Ralph Gumudul. These stories and pictures can be found in the book entitled “Djugurba”. Narrated by Juliana Allan, Wynne Nelson and Peter Gwynne.
