Episode number 7 of Series “Accidents don’t happen”.
Shows what to do and what not to do in the way of on-the-spot first aid when industrial back injuries occur. Animation illustrates the structure of the spinal column and how paralysis may result from injury to the inner spinal cord. Detailed demonstrations, both in a factory and in a logging camp, show how an accident victim must be handled in order to avoid more serious complications.
