A description of the city and suburbs of Adelaide since foundation. A father is driving his son to one of the research laboratories and as they approach the city, he tells the boy of local industries and the contributions made to the South Australian economy by the Agricultural Research Institute. Includes scenes of the landmarks of the city and a visit to the Onkaparinga Racecourse. Sponsored by the Australian News & Information Bureau and narrated by David Low.
