Technology/transformation: Wonder Woman

United States, 1978-1979

Film

‘Technology/Transformation: Wonder Woman’ is an incendiary deconstruction of the ideology embedded in television and pop cultural iconography. Through radical manipulation of the female pop icon, Wonder Woman, Birnbaum subverts and reshapes its meaning within the television text.
