The historic mansion ‘Labassa’ in Melbourne has seen many occupants and much activity in its more than 150 years of existence. Bronwyn Worrall, who manages the property for the community heritage organisation, the National Trust of Australia (Victoria), discusses the building’s history as a family residence, a home for ‘hippies’ in the 1970s and its use as a location for a number of films.
