Former Governor of Hong Kong, Chris Patten provides a politico-economic tour of some countries affected by the Asian economic crisis, speaking with many of the leading economists and politicians involved. He assesses the repercussions of changing attitudes towards Asia, shows how the collapse of the economies of South East Asia have effected ordinary people, and discusses Asian culture and values that have build up over time.
