‘Mother and Son’ was an Australian television comedy series that centred on the relationship between the elderly Maggie Beare (Ruth Cracknell) and her carer son Arthur (Garry McDonald).
In this episode, Arthur’s attempts to enjoy a night out with his estranged wife, Deirdre (Suzanne Roylance) are derailed by Maggie’s determination not to be left out.
First broadcast on 6th February, 1984.
