Vox pops with the locals of Maffra. The township of Maffra in the Wellington Shire, southeast of Victoria, is home to approximately 4000 people and was chosen to host the third annual Small Towns Summit from 26 to 27 August 2009. The summit is an initiative of the Small Towns Victoria Program funded by Regional Development Victoria, organised by the Municipal Association of Victoria. The program aims to broadly address the issues facing small rural towns in Victoria.
