This film starts with Darren McCubbin, the Mayor of the Wellington Shire, welcoming the audience to Maffra. Darren explains that we are about to visit some of the places and meet some of the people that make Maffra a unique place to live. The film features the Geoff Webster Centre, the Gippsland Vehicle Collection, the Maffra Gymnastics Club, the George Gray Centre, Wallaby Rise Restaurant, Cambrai Backpacker Hostel and Jenny McDavitt an Alpaca farmer and Ferial Zikerman who is now internationally known for her Maffra Cheese.
