Margaret O’Connell tells of how she moved to be with her sister in Geelong, of her first days at Brintons carpet factory and how her loneliness was soon replaced by the family she made there. She join the Equal Opportunity and Consultative Committees and, when the factory closed in 2008, had been there for 32 years.
