Arthur and Corinne Cantrill have been making films together since 1960. Initially focusing on documentaries about art they moved on to experimental film in 1969. From 1971 to 2000 they edited and published Cantrills Filmnotes, a journal on film and video art. Their film work and publishing are well-known internationally and have been represented in several film collections.
In this interview with Fiona Trigg, ACMI Exhibitions Assistant Curator, Arthur and Corinne talk about their early days of expanded cinema and their technical and creative processes.
