In 2005, the small waterline community of Corinella in south eastern Victoria, was at risk of losing its iconic jetty. Barbara Oates, a local and owner of the general store, rallied the community to raise $10,000 to have the jetty renovated and extended, ensuring the prominent landmark would be enjoyed for generations to come.
