Spectacle Director Showcase: Paul Goldman

Acclaimed Australian filmmaker Paul Goldman has directed over 200 music videos including work for Elvis Costello, INXS, Kylie Minogue, Crowded House and Silverchair. Paul also directed seminal Australian films like ‘Australian Rules’ and ‘Suburban Mayhem’. In this inverview, Paul talks candidly about his early music videos for Nick Cave’s ‘The Birthday Party’ and ‘The Reels’.

Created as part of “Spectacle : The Music Video Exhibition” 26 September 2013 - 23 February 2014. ACMI Digital Programs worked with Exhibitions to interview five Australian directors featured in the exhibition about the art and techniques of music video production.
