Film
An image of Mo'Ju singing in the desert, weraing a large fur coat and short bowl haircut

The lead single off their album of the same name, Native Tongue (2018) saw artist Mo’Ju explore cultural identity through music, movement and striking visuals. Deceptively simple, it uses a single shot of Mo’Ju and three Djuki Mala dancers walking through an unmistakably Australian landscape. The glitch effect utilised not only adds visual emphasis to the on-screen movement, but also underlines the poignant lyrics.
