Leon Isackson is considered one of Australia’s greatest drummers, having played with everyone from John Farnham to Johnny O’Keefe and Little Pattie. When he was just 17-years-old, he started capturing his life on the road as a touring musician for six years from 1959 onwards with these clips – shot on 8MM film – combined to capture a nostalgic period of Australian music and form the video for Munro Melano’s ‘My Hometown’.
