One of the first music videos to go viral in the age of the internet, ‘Somebody That I Used to Know’ by Gotye (and featuring Kimbra) has been viewed over 1.3 billion times on YouTube. The use of body paint and early animation technique stop motion helped drive the track to a No.1 hit in the US and Australia, as well as countless comedic parodies and rip-offs in the intervening years.
