Highlights of the National War Effort. Reaping the wheat, shearing sheep, producing butter, eggs, felling trees for timber. Industry producing metals, Bren Gun carriers, shells, guns, ships, planes, exporting the lot to England. Total war effort to fight enemy. Australian Army, Navy and Air Force personnel training and embarking for service overseas. Commentary by Peter Bathurst.
