This remix features footage of the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games including the Olympic torch relay, opening ceremony at the MCG, various events and some elaborate decorations displayed in the CBD during the games.

The video was made using clips from home movies and professional documentary footage preserved in the ACMI Collection.
