Object
Photograph by Egmont Contreras, ACMI

Two glass sheets: one glass only and the other with slide imagery which has a monochromatic emulsion that has then been hand painted with coloured pigments or dye.
TEXT on the slide reads: Evelyn Laye in Evensong with Fritz Kortner Alice Delysia
The two sheets of glass are held together using Gunn’s Slide branded tape: Gunn’s Slide, 9 Collins Place Melb. Cent. 2736.
On the clear glass slide there are remnants of handwritten detail which has nearly all worn off. It possibly says: STARTS..
