With just a smartphone and some downtime, TikTok user Jools Lebron has become an overnight sensation. Offering career advice to her ‘divas’, Lebron explained that they should turn up for work the same as they do for a job interview. While her joke about interviewing as Marge Simpson but starting work looking like Patty and Selma is hilarious, it’s her purring delivery of “very mindful, very demure” that has gone viral. Since posting she’s received over 4.7m likes and countless homages. But there’s a downside to sudden internet stardom – someone has submitted to trademark her catchphrase. Not very demure, not very mindful.
