“An experimental video piece set in a future where Earth’s sole media platform automatically generates personalised content for users in real-time. What will happen if/when social media gets even more powerful?” - Dr Alan Nguyen

This work of experimental science fiction explores logical conclusions suggested by digital economies in which living itself is a form of capture. The story takes the viewer through a range of historical developments leading to the creation of a one-world streaming platform, Worldio, that subsumes users as an energy source in an automated mode of production.

This film was commissioned as part of the Capture All collaborative study program – a collaboration between Liquid Architecture (Melbourne) and Sarai Centre for the Study of Developing Societies (Delhi).
