The Crown episode “Dis-Moi oui” uses VFX to recreate Princess Diana’s final day and Prince Harry’s emotional first stag hunt. The stag, fully digital, was carefully animated to behave naturally, adding drama as it dips its head. To depict the Ritz Paris and Place Vendôme, the VFX team combined 260-degree photographs with cutting-edge tools like augmented reality. Filmed on a London backlot, the crew built part of the Ritz and used greenscreens to create a bustling Paris square filled with digital crowds and traffic. These seamless effects ensure history feels authentic without distraction.
