The third and final game in the Frog Detective trilogy finds mystery in Cowboy County, where Frog Detective joins the ‘number-one detective’, Lobster Cop, to solve the case of some stolen hats.
Worm Club combines the series’ usual detective work with the sights and sounds of the Western, as players interview and help a new cast of absurd townsfolk and outlaws. Cowboy County is bigger than the earlier games’ settings, with “vast and rough” terrain to cross. What began as a gag became one of the game’s key features: a scooter system developed by Tom Bowker, turning movement itself into part of the joke.
