A boy’s adventure on Green Island, New Foundland. Gulls, puffins, murres, kittiwakes and other winged fishers occupy every inch of space where young Tom accompanies a bird-banding expedition. When a rope slips and a bad fall threatens, Tom makes a quick, sure-footed recovery.
