Illustrates the value of a summer day camp for girls, showing the planning by the camp committees for shelters, equipment, transportation, leadership, outdoor and indoor camping activities. Describes how girls are able to put into practice some of the skills they learned in their troops - weaving grass mats, cooking out of doors and building bird-feeding houses, etc.
