Describes the introduction of co-operative dairy farming in the eastern townships of Quebec to increase agricultural output and improve marketing methods. Recalls some of the difficulties encountered in the early days of the Agricultural Co-operative of Granby and cites the success of the Granby Co-operative as an example of what can be achieved when agricultural expert and farmer work in close co-operation.
