In the ancient city of Paestum, in southern Italy, archaeologists have discovered remnants of a civilization founded by the Greeks in the 6th century B.C. and later dominated by the Romans. Shows the plan of the city and its buildings, many in the finest Doric tradition and in an excellent state of preservation. As well as the sculpture and ceramic work, artifacts and other relics of an ancient Greek and Roman culture.
