The film is about an exhibit called the “Art of the Real” at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. It illustrates the Americans great concern for their culture and that the culture is real and moving, and sometimes controversial. It employs a variety of techniques including double exposures, vignettes, slow motion, freezes, camera movements, moving lights, etc.
