Explains briefly the four basic printing processes - letterpress, gravure, lithography and silk screen. The general principles are demonstrated as well as the means of preparing images for printing including the linotype and monotype machines, and mechanical and chemical photocopying equipment. Various types of printing presses are shown and reference is made to flexography for the printing of flexible packaging. No other credits available.
