Describes the international cultural festival held in Bergen, Norway each year. The festival, attended by people from all over the world, is dedicated to the memory of Edvard Grieg. Outdoor theatre, philharmonic orchestras, folk dancing displays, ballet, singing and painting are some of the attractions. Concerts are held in historic buildings all over the town. Birgit Nilsson sings and finally the Bergen Harmonia plays Grieg’s Concerto in A Minor.
