A short colonial film that contrasts a woman collecting flowers in a dense South African forest with men logging the forest around her. The images are complimented by a musical arrangement by Michael Dorre conducting the Johannesburg Colosseum Symphony Orchestra. The film concludes with a title “Thus the sun illumined forests of the Cape”
