This film is designed to enable pupils to make a direct comparison with their own way of life, in order to help them towards a better understanding of the influence of environment on a people’s way of life. The children of a typical Swiss mountain farming family are introduced at work and at play. Directly recorded conversations in the Swiss language are featured in the film.
