Offers the controversial slice of history that makes up the years 1945-1971, on the China question in the United Nations, ending with the People’s Republic of China being seated in the General Assembly on November 15, 1971. Includes footage of Russia’s walkout from the Security Council to protest the continued Nationalist presence, the United Nations intervention in Korea, and the appearance of General Wu of the People’s Republic. Contains black and white sequences. Narrated by Donald Pringle.
