The life and work of members of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra and its resident conductor, Dean Dixon, the off-duty hobbies and pastimes of members of the orchestra, ranging from surf fishing and motor racing to violin making and chess. Highlight is an invitation by the conductor to kindergarten children to play the instrument of their choice. Features music of Bela Bartok.
