Looks at the rising incidence of heart disease in Western society. Of babies born with perfect arteries, by the age of 15 virtually everybody has ruined them to some extent. Points out that the “good life” is responsible - smoking, lack of physical activity, excess fatty substances in the blood, high blood pressure and overweight are to blame. Suggestions are made for overcoming the problem.
